My ISR Story:                   
Hello, welcome to my website. I'm a Certified ISR Instructor in Boulder City and the Southern Nevada area. My husband and I are raising our two children (young adults). We also have two amazing Labradors that we consider our children as well. I feel blessed to say I was able to stay home with my children during their school years. Now that they are both almost out of the house, I felt the need to find my passion again. In my search it was suggested to me, by a great ISR Instructor, to look into teaching ISR. Teaching and helping others has always been important to me and the ISR program is a perfect fit.  ISR allows me to give back to the community, making a difference in the safety for children in and around the water . 

I welcome anyone who is interested in ISR to come observe a lesson. 

About Me: 
I had a wonderful childhood growing up in the Midwest.  In 1988 I moved to California to pursue a career as a Flight Attendant with MGM Grand Airlines, a luxurious Airline that chartered to the rich and famous. 

In 1994 I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to attend Paramedic School. Working as a Paramedic in the Las Vegas area for seven years. This included time as a Flight Paramedic for Flight For Life.

I am married, my husband Michael has worked  in our community for 25 plus years as a firefighter. We have two wonderful children.  In 2003 we moved our family to Boulder City from Henderson to be closer to Lake Mead. 

I have become an ISR Instructor to teach children ISR’s Self-Rescue skills.  It is truly the most rewarding type of work.

​I am proud to bring these skills to our Boulder City community and beyond.  Providing your child the competence, confidence and skills in aquatic safety.
